Cascara, also known as coffee cherry tea, is derived from the dried husks of coffee cherries. Coffee cherries are the fruit that grows on coffee plants, and they contain the seeds or coffee beans that are typically roasted and brewed to make coffee. After the coffee beans are harvested, the outer skin, pulp, and mucilage are removed, leaving behind the coffee cherries' husks. These husks are then dried and processed to create cascara. Our cascara is grown by farmers in Costa Rica.
