Cascara Simple Syrup
A refreshing Cascara Pellegrino with fresh cut lemon.
Ingredients
1 cup White Sugar
1 cup Filtered Water
1 cup or 40 g Cascara / Dried Coffee Cherries
Instructions:
Place ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir to ensure sugar dissolves.
Remove saucepan from heat and allow syrup to cool a little bit.
Filter out the coffee cherries using a strainer.
Store in your favorite jar. See recipes below and mix into your favorite beverage. Enjoy!

Instructions:
Hot Brew:
1.) Add 0.5 oz (15g) of Cascara to 10oz (0.3 L) of 200F water.
2.) Steep for 6 minutes.
3.) Strain and enjoy!
Iced Cascara Tea:
1.) Use 1 oz (30 g) of cascara for every 10 oz (0.3 L) of cold water.
2.) Place tea in water and let stand in the fridge for 24 hours.
3.) Strain and enjoy!
