Blue House is hiring for two Part-Time roles that support our Coffee Catering and Wholesale programs. These roles are hands-on, physical, and essential to keeping production and event services running smoothly. We’re looking for reliable, team-oriented people who enjoy practical work and helping a small team operate efficiently. Schedule & hours

• Part-time roles available

• Event shifts vary based on bookings

• Wholesale/production shifts follow a consistent weekly schedule

• Some flexibility needed depending on seasonal demand

Required Experience:

• No prior coffee or barista experience is required — training will be provided.

• Experience in customer service, food service, retail, or hospitality is preferred

• Experience working in team environments, fast-paced settings, or event support roles preferred but not required

Role 1 — Catering & Events Operations

About the role
This is a part-time role supporting our Mobile Coffee Catering program. In addition to serving customers, you’ll help prepare, transport, set up, and break down equipment at events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, doesn’t mind some physical work, and enjoys working in different environments day to day.

Core responsibilities:

• Event equipment setup and teardown (coffee carts, grinders, kegs, supplies)

• Transporting equipment to and from event sites

• Assisting with drink preparation as trained for event service

• Keeping the event area clean, stocked, and organized

• Post-event cleanup, equipment checks, and restocking

• Occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on event schedule

Role 2 — Wholesale & Production Support

About the role
This is a part-time role supporting our weekly Wholesale Deliveries and Cold Brew Production. You’ll help with keg cleaning, staging, loading, deliveries, and general production tasks. This position is behind-the-scenes, consistent, and process-driven. Must be able to lift 25+lbs.

Core responsibilities:

• Assisting with local delivery routes and customer drop-offs

• Cleaning, sanitizing, and checking kegs for quality issues

• Supporting cold brew kegging, labeling, and staging for delivery

• Packing and shipping online retail orders

• Maintaining logs for keg cleaning, brewer cleaning, and service checks

• General warehouse organization and production support
