The Team Behind Blue House Coffee Roasters
At Blue House Coffee Roasters, great coffee starts with great people. Every roast, pour, and market setup reflects the passion and dedication of a small team that believes in quality, sustainability, and community.
Here’s the team that keeps Blue House brewing strong across Arizona.
Maria Del Pilar – General Manager
Maria leads operations at Blue House Coffee Roasters with dedication and heart. She manages our café, roasting schedules, and team coordination to make sure every batch, event, and market runs smoothly. Maria’s leadership keeps our focus on quality, consistency, and customer care.
Cheyenne Wendt – Director of Marketing & Communications
Cheyenne is the creative voice behind Blue House. She manages marketing, social media, photography, and community outreach to connect our brand with coffee lovers across Arizona. Her storytelling and design help bring our values and products to life.
Rowdy – Market Coordination
If you’ve stopped by one of our booths, you’ve probably met Rowdy. As Market Manager, he oversees our weekly farmers market operations, coordinates the team, and ensures everything from cold brew taps to customer service runs seamlessly. Known for his friendly energy, Rowdy and his brother are familiar faces in the Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market community.
Wholesale & Cold Brew Production — Oliver Pina & Colton Prince
Oliver and Colton manage and scale the core of Blue House Coffee’s distribution. They brew, keg, and supply cold brew to wholesale accounts, markets, and events across Arizona.
From maintaining equipment to dialing in consistency in every batch, Oliver and Colton help bring Blue House Coffee to local cafes, offices, and community spaces. Their work keeps the taps flowing and the partnerships growing.
Ian Beger – Director of Farm Operations
Ian oversees our farm operations in Costa Rica. His hands-on approach ensures that every crop aligns with our values of quality and environmental care. Ian bridges the gap between our farm and roastery, helping Blue House maintain a true farm-to-cup coffee experience that connects Arizona to its origins abroad.
Our Founders – Sam Beger & Nick DiPastena
Sam and Nick founded Blue House Coffee Roasters in 2012. What began with a bicycle cold-brew cart has grown into a full roastery, café, farmers market presence, and event service. Their vision set the tone for our farm-to-cup approach, sourcing beans from regions like Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Ethiopia, and roasting them in downtown Phoenix.
The Heart of the Experience — Our Café and Market Crew
Beyond leadership and production, Blue House Coffee thrives because of the baristas, market team members, and support staff who show up early, lift heavy equipment, learn our brew techniques, talk with customers, and help shape the experience people know and love.
These are the faces you’ll see serving drinks, running market booths, packing orders, and representing Blue House in the community:
Sydney, Brett, Cademon, Micah, Roman, Jade, Matt, Sarai, Ayla, Hunter, Chandler, Cade, Ahnah, Luna, Sammy, Adriana, Sydney, Emma, Marcia, Lali, Zack, Sana, Chantelle, and Sarah
This team brings energy, consistency, and hospitality to every shift and every cup.
