Iconic Cocktail Syrup: Cascara Vanilla

Did you know: The beans used to make your morning cup of coffee, are actually roasted “seeds” that come from the center of a coffee cherry? It’s true! Usually deemed a waste product and thrown out, but if carefully separated from their seeds during coffee harvesting, the husk of the coffee cherry can be dried and then enjoyed as it’s own product: Cascara!

Inspired by this process - the team at Iconic Cocktail Co sourced cascara, and paired it with vanilla bean, creating a tasty syrup that has hints of black cherry flavor. We’re known around the farmers markets for having this elixir as an add-in for your coffee.
