We have our cold brew kegerators to make your life easier and more caffeinated. Whether you run an office, host events, or want a top-tier home setup, our kegerators deliver cold brew and nitro coffee that’s smooth, strong, and ready to pour.

If something isn’t working quite right, don’t worry. This quick troubleshooting guide will help you fix the most common issues so you can get back to enjoying your cold brew.

1. My Cold Brew Isn’t Pouring

What to check:

  • Make sure the gas tank is on and not empty

  • Look for blockages in the line

  • Check if the keg is empty

How to fix it:

  • Turn on the CO₂ or nitrogen tank and set the regulator to the correct PSI (35–40 PSI for nitro, 10–15 PSI for cold brew)

  • Lift the keg to check the weight. If it feels light, you may need a refill

  • Disconnect and reconnect the tap lines to clear any blockages

2. My Cold Brew Is Pouring Foamy or Flat

For cold brew (non-nitro):
Too much foam usually means the pressure is too high. Flat pours can mean the pressure is too low or the gas tank is empty.

For nitro cold brew:
Flat pours may come from low PSI or a low nitrogen tank. A weak cascade can happen if the coffee isn’t infused properly.

How to fix it:

  • Make sure the gas tank is full and set to the correct pressure

  • Shake the keg gently before serving to increase infusion for nitro

  • Clean the tap regularly to maintain smooth flow and ideal foam

3. There’s a Leak or Drip at the Tap

What to check:

  • Inspect the faucet and tap connections

  • Tighten the beer nut and keg coupler if they feel loose

How to fix it:

  • Turn off the gas

  • Disconnect the lines

  • Reconnect everything tightly

If it still leaks, contact us. We can provide replacement or service.

4. The Cold Brew Tastes Off

Cold brew should taste smooth, clean, and balanced. If it tastes sour, bitter, or stale, here’s what might be wrong:

What to check:

  • Check the age of the keg

  • Inspect the cleanliness of the lines and tap

How to fix it:

  • Clean the tap system every 1–2 weeks

  • Rotate kegs every 2–3 weeks to maintain peak freshness

5. The Kegerator Isn’t Cold Enough

Cold brew tastes best when served between 36–40°F.

What to check:

  • Adjust the thermostat

  • Make sure the unit is plugged in and has proper airflow

  • Avoid opening the door frequently
